Fire Warden/Marshal Training Course

The Fire Warden/Marshal training course will provide you with the necessary information and training required to be a qualified Fire Warden/Marshal.

Having a designated Fire Warden/Marshal in your workplace is an important part of the overall fire safety plan for your building.

The course instructor will detail all the essential duties and role of a Fire Warden/Marshal such as what is meaning of a designated area, evacuation of people with limited mobility, who must a Fire Warden/Marshal report to, what are management responsibilities and fire drills. The Fire Warden/Marshal training course will give you an understanding of fire hazards within the workplace and what fire safety arrangements can be put in place to manage the risk.

Each learner will have an opportunity for hands-on experience in the safe use of portable fire extinguishers.

Course Objectives

Our Tutors

All our tutors hold a minimum QQI Level 8 in their subject matter, a Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 or higher. The tutor working with your staff is experienced in fire safety and will detail all the essential duties and roles of staff.

Assessment

Participants will be required to fully participate in the course to receive certification

Certification
  • Upon successful completion of this course, learners will receive a Phoenix STS Fire Warden/Marshal Certification
  • Thereafter course refreshment is recommended after 2 years
