All buildings above or below ground floor level where the upper or lower floors are accessible with the use of a staircase require evacuation devices placed on each escape stairwell. It is also important to assess the suitability of the evacuation chair that has been chosen based on the profile of the occupants that may be in the building. The higher the level of dependency of the occupants within the building will increase both the number of evacuation chairs and level of training required

All our tutors hold a minimum QQI Level 8 in their subject matter, a Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 or higher and are also Evacuation Chair Instructors. The tutor working with you is experienced in fire safety and evacuation planning.
