Course Details
Refresher training is essential to ensure that staff keep up to date with developments in fire safety and re-enforce skills gained from Nursing Homes Fire Safety Procedures Course. The course is a group discussion with participants and the instructor, re-enforcing positive behaviour within each module and allowing participants the opportunity to address areas of concern and how to overcome them.
Pre-Course Requirements
Participants must have completed Nursing Homes Fire Safety Procedures Course with Phoenix Safety Training Services (if lapse is less than 3 months otherwise 4 hour programme must be completed)
Participants who have completed this course will have a good understanding of
- Chemistry, spread and classes of fire
- The types of fire extinguishers
- The principles of fire prevention
- The theory of progressive horizontal evacuation
- What to do in an emergency

Who should attend?
All employees and management within a Nursing Home who have completed Nursing Homes and Care who have completed Nursing Homes Fire Safety Procedures Course.
Assessment/Certification
Phoenix Safety Training Services skills Certification on successful completion of examination.
