Training
Manual Handling
This course will provide participants with the knowledge to conduct all manual handling activities in a manner that will prevent injury. This course will inform participants on the consequences of lifting incorrectly and on safe manual handling techniques.
Workplace Safety
This course is a combination of Fire Safety Awareness and Manual Handling. Section 1 trains participants to deal with fire on an emergency basis, it emphasises the dangers of fire, the importance of prevention, the necessity of urgent action when fire breaks out. An important feature of this course is the practical use of our Live Fire Demonstration Unit, which allows the instructor to demonstrate most fire sources and the participants to use fire extinguishers, including many specific fire hazards within the workplace. Section 2 will provide participants with the knowledge to conduct all manual handling activities in a manner that will prevent injury. This course will inform participants on the consequences of lifting incorrectly and on safe manual handling techniques.
Office Safety
Course designed to give participant’s knowledge on recent guidelines published by the health and safety authority on the occupational health and safety for office workers, provide practical advice on the principle office hazards that should be controlled, it outlines how this should be achieved and gives practical guidance on maintaining a safe working environment.
Safety Awareness
Course designed to equip participants with the knowledge to improve current safety practices within their organisation. It outlines general principles of safety within the workplace and touches on responsibilities and requirements under current occupational health and safety legislation. The course is suitable for participants with or without a background in safety management.
Chemical Awareness
Course designed to train participants how to handle chemicals safely giving information on the use and possible exposure to chemicals within their workplace. This course will give participants the knowledge to understand Safety Data Sheets and warning labels used to display hazard information regarding the use of chemicals in the workplace.
Accident Investigation
This course is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to ensure that their organisation has a thorough Accident Investigation System in place, providing tools to obtain detailed and accurate information and statistics regarding accidents.
Risk Assessment
Course designed to train participants in the skills of effective risk assessment, the knowledge to implement or improve current safety practices within their organisations; it outlines general responsibilities and requirements under current occupational health and safety legislation. The course is suitable for participants with or without a background in safety management
Safety Representative
Course designed to give participant’s knowledge on recent guidelines published by the health and safety authority on occupational health and safety. It outlines how a safer working environment should be achieved giving guidance on its maintenance. Safety and health representatives form a vital link between employers and employees; their role is to enable employers and employees to discuss safety and health matters, and to work together with employees to make the work place safe.

Course designed to give management the tools to put in place a safety management system. It outlines general responsibilities and requirements under current occupational health and safety legislation. The course is suitable for participants with or without a background in safety management.
Safety Statement Workshop
The safety, health and welfare at work act 2005 reinforce the general duty on employers to prepare a safety statement for their general business. Your safety statement is your safety management system in writing and is a legal document, which supports your legal obligations. This course not alone gives participants the knowledge to maintain a safety statement, it is designed to ensure by the end of the programme your organisation will have an up to date functioning safety statement.
