Course designed to train participants how to handle chemicals safely giving information on the use and possible exposure to chemicals within their workplace. This course will give participants the knowledge to understand Safety Data Sheets and warning labels used to display hazard information regarding the use of chemicals in the workplace.

When a member of your staff is exposed to ot has the potential to be exposed to a chemical regardless of their role in your organisation i.e. domestic (cleaning), in the office (copiers, printers), clinical (bio hazards, chemo/radioactive treatment) or the factory floor (manufacturing process), they need to know the potential harm to their health and how to protect themselves. Whilst you have a legal obligation to protect your staff, you also have a moral obligation.
